Clean, small camp and everything you need for a break . We went in November so was very quiet would be a good walk into bridlington via the beach in summer, a essential car needed to get around due to only 2 Buses a day .. would definitely return in summer when outdoor pool open an enjoyable relaxing few days

everyone enjoyed the break, left early due to weather. on checking the caravan before we left we found an empty juice carton under a pillow in the middle bedroom, needless to say it wasn't ours. This gave the distinct impression that the caravan hadnt been cleaned thoroughly and also called into question if the bedding had been changed on that bed, i mentioned it to Rachel in reception on returning the keys but her response was lukewarm to say the least. She said she would 'mention it' not sure who to and no explanation or apology.

Visited for the first time this year and it was also the last week of the season, hence the park was very very quite. Due to the time of the year, the swimming pool wasn't open so had to go to Bridlington to go swimming. Not a problem as I am a driver, but if not it would have been quite a trek. No where generally within walking distance. Overall, a pleasant enough site but don't think I would visit again. Very small site. Children's park is lovely though and was actually one of the best we've encountered.
I think in peak season things would seem to be very busy and packed due to the size of the park itself.

Hi Lorraine,

Many thanks for your constructive feedback. It is great to hear that you liked the play park and that you found the site to have a pleasant atmosphere. Barmston Beach is one of our quieter parks, so next time it may be worth trying one of our livelier parks such as Cayton Bay (Near Scarborough) or Southview (Near Skegness).

Kind Regards

Lovely beach at back off resort. Caravan very modern and clean and with nice bedding. Staff very helpful. Shortage of coat hangers quickly sorted by maintenance man. Cleaners very helpful. Only down side is that we went October school hols so effectively last week of the season. This resulted in the restaurant running out of of almost all food down to mayonaise sachets. Not experienced this with other resort companies at same time of year. Really needs looking at. Apart from this its a lovely place with close driving distance to Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough etc.

This was the first time at Barmston Beach. The electric went off mid way through our stay and the arcade was then off for three days which upset my children. I also wanted to watch the champions league football one evening and was told that the television could not be turned over. The bar was running out of beer as it was the end of the season they didn’t replace it. We ended up going out most night to other venues. I regret that I purchased 4 entertainment passes as we hardly used them. We have stayed at many other caravan sites around the country and this was unfortunately probably one of the worse experiences.
