Lovely clean caravan and given an upgrade!
Was visited on my first full day by staff to make sure everything was ok. Told them about a few broken things and they were fixed within a few days, really helpful and polite staff and the children enjoyed the entertainments.

We have been to this park 7 times over the years, since becoming park dean resort it has drastically changed, the new team members seem not to be very well trained,on arrival we were given the wrong passes, the wrong address for the caravan,on returning to reception to sort the matters out the young lady was clueless,
We have always booked the next years holiday on arrival through the price guarantee but on booking for next year we were told this scheme had been scrapped thus doubling the price of the holiday,we paid the deposit and never received the free gift advertised,we asked as we always do on arrival to extend an extra night so the children could go as usual to the pirate festival, the young lady on reception said it wasn't possible,so mid week I called in to see one of the old team members who sorted it for us immediately but informed us that our caravan had been allocated so we would have to move for the last night, this wasn't a major problem but she did mention that if we had sorted it on the day we checked in that we could of stayed put.so on Saturday we checked out of our caravan and on handing the keys back to the same young lady who had repeatedly misinformed us we asked what time we could move into the new caravan without even checking the answer was 4pm, luckily the team member who had sorted our issue out overheard the conversation ,jumped in and gave me a key for the caravan and apologised about her colleague.
The club house has been redecorated to a very poor standard, the carpets and furniture are old and dirty,on clearing tables staff rarely wipe them down afterwards. The free tea and coffee bar set up is a nice idea but a dirty dinted boiler and an old kettle surrounded by empty coffee sachets' and debris hardly increases the holiday mood.
At the bar one afternoon 5 different members of staff popped in and out of the room behind the bar before acknowledging us when I mentioned this the bar manager apologised and informed me that the staff had all been looking for sugar for the free tea bar!!!!
We paid £14.10 for two pints of lager and 3 diet Pepsi, the same round in the next site long meadow is £9.60 and around the town is between£8.80 and £9.10, I expect to pay a little more on the park but not 50% more!!!!!!
the park itself doesn't seem as well kept as it used to and it's a real shame, the only reason we have rebooked is because we have so many friends in withernsea and a real love of the town, but due to the major price increase we are looking at a private rental and will more than likely cancelling with yourselves.

We have had a fantastic time at withernsea, the staff were all so friendly and helpful especially the lifeguards and special mention to Matt, autumn and Becca the entertainment crew, they made our little girls holiday so friendly and fun. Not much around for older children which didn't affect our stay. Withernsea itself had enough in it to satisfy our needs and the locals were very friendly too. A must visit is the deep in hull just a short drive away. Caravan was clean cozy and ideally located. Nothing was too much trouble -
Staff went all out when the weather was torrential. Great holiday, great wee Caravan Park, great staff. What more could you want.

The static van we were in for the week was very spacious, the bedroom is massive compared to others we have been in, clean and very tidy, thanks Emma, but there was a smell coming out on the second day, went to reception and they arranged with housekeeping to send us some air fresheners. I had my doggy child with me and I should think that you will be able to take him into the amusement section, in town you can do it.
