Make the most of good times

Whether you want to try your hand at fishing in the well-stocked fishing lake, or go for a swim in the heated indoor pool, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Sunnydale Holiday Park.

You can explore the seaside town of Mablethorpe and lively Cleethorpes. But the holiday park has plenty of activities for both adults and kids too, whether you’re on a short break with friends or a holiday with the whole family.

Kids will love getting active in the Water Walkers – a giant bubble that allows you to skim across water without getting wet. But the entertainment isn’t just for the kids as adults can find food and refreshment in the Boathouse Bar & Restaurant and at the Showbar at weekends.

The caravan was really nice, shame it was overlooked by and overlooking all the other caravans but obviously couldn't be helped. Never used the club facilities as it smelled like sewerage every time we passed. However it didn't seem to offer anything that we would be interested in anyway - luckily we never had to pay for our entertainment pass but I would not have been pleased if we had been charged.
Unfortunately the reception staff were not very helpful, they had no local knowledge even of the site. We wanted to know about recycling facilities, they didn't even know what we meant, and we asked about the nearest post box which they had no idea. We also asked about Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes and they similarly could offer no information. I'm sure they must have been on some kind of work placement from school.
However despite that we did enjoy our stay and would consider coming back

We have just arrived home after a Monday to Friday holiday. When we first arrived we were a bit disappointed as the park itself is in the middle of no where. A 20 mins trip to Mablethorpe itself. The scenery was very pretty, but the warning of not touching, digging the old bomb field was a bit scary lol. Even though families were walking across and found it safe. However... the cleanliness and caravan really made up for this. It was lovely. And very clean. And a very good size. The staff were very very friendly and great with our children. Very patient. This is the first park that although quiet and not many there when we went, they still put on children's entertainment and really made an effort. And for that, that is what won us over. If you have a car this place is spot on! And maybe there are things to do in that area, but with having 3 smaller children we couldn't really go off and explore this. Xx
