Visit Yarmouth

Yarmouth’s harbour is a constant hive of activity, as ferry passengers arrive from the mainland and fishing charters and cruises sail out to explore the iconic Needles nearby. Before you join them, make sure you visit the historic town’s very own star sights, including its Tudor castle.

The finishing touch to Henry VIII’s Solent defences, Yarmouth Castle features numerous historic cannons and special recreations illustrating life at the time. You’ll love the jaw-dropping views from here too.

Nearby another coastal stronghold, Fort Victoria Country Park, has been transformed and now features a host of family-friendly attractions including an archaeology centre, model railway museum, planetarium and reptile house.
