Newquay captures everything you’d want from a Cornish holiday. Its 11 beaches are golden and soft, its waves are fast, hollow and perfect for surfing and the laid-back atmosphere here provides a really refreshing change of pace. With trendy dining and shopping too, it’s no wonder Newquay’s beloved by the nation.

The town is first and foremost a beach destination, and with so many to choose from you’ll have no problem finding one that’s just right for you, whether that’s calm and secluded Lusty Glaze or lively Fistral.

Away from the sands, visit Newquay Zoo, a sanctuary for over 1,000 animals, including lions, penguins and meerkats. While Blue Reef Aquarium lets you meet loggerhead turtles and sharks!
