About Tenby

With its pastel-coloured cottages, elegant seaside villas and winding cobbled lanes, Tenby looks like it could be taken from the pages of a storybook. And the setting! Fine, golden, Blue Flag award-winning beaches lie on every side and the sea looks almost Mediterranean with its turquoise hue. Dreamy!

Tenby’s gentle microclimate makes its three beaches especially inviting, but at low tide it’s worth ditching your spade and clambering up St Catherine’s Island, a rocky outcrop where you’ll discover a Napoleonic fort and incredible ocean views.

And don’t forget Tenby’s harbour itself which, despite its delightful appearance, remains a hub of activity. Visit the lifeboat station here (one of the busiest in Britain) to explore a day in the life of the brave volunteers and get an up-close view of their state-of-the-art boat.

Elsewhere, Tenby’s medieval alleyways hide everything from art galleries and museums, to ice cream parlours and fish and chip restaurants. Holiday heaven!
